18 February 2008Since The Only Easy Thing has announced it’s participation on a seo contest 2008, I think it is better to analyze the SEO quality of it’s site. The contest which organized by UKWMM, had been set to target the keyword seocontest2008.
The Only Easy Thing doesn’t use a new domain name which usually better to target particular keyword, instead of using the existing domain name. He only create a page as targeted landing page for this seo competition. I believe by choosing this strategy, he want to take advantage of his aged domain and also it’s PageRank.

2007 seemed to be something of a debut year for PTC sites starting a business race between them to become the biggest before 2008 set in. Prior to 2007 for quite a few years PT sites had been around for a while but generally in PTR form which somewhat diminished when the high paying PTC sites took the lime light. Spring 2007 became a hot spot for fast growing PTC sites with adbux.org taking a very quick lead.
This period became something of a battle ground for other PTC sites to catch up with the obvious bux.to, AdverCash and ClixSense. Incentive based advertising was also becoming competitive marketing once the invention of referral purchase was added to the mix pushing the sites that had embraced it further up the chart. ClixSense for most of the year refused to get on board with it claiming that it would increase the amount of spam on the internet.

No more Google Adsense Referrals
9 January 2008Google Adsense has announced about upcoming changes to their referral program. This program was offering bonus for AdSense referrals so that when a user you referred to the program earned $5 within 180 days of sign-up, you would also earn $5. When that publisher earned $100 within 180 days and removed all payment holds, you’d receive $250.

6 January 2008Search engine optimization techniques for Google and Yahoo are quite different. Many websites rank well in one search engine but not the other. This is the direct result of each search engine having its own unique ranking algorithm. For example, the Google algorithm predominantly values the anchor text of in-bound links. Yahoo places more emphasis on keyword density and meta tags.
