Analyzing the SEO features of The Only Easy Things
18 February 2008Since The Only Easy Thing has announced it’s participation on a seo contest 2008, I think it is better to analyze the SEO quality of it’s site. The contest which organized by UKWMM, had been set to target the keyword seocontest2008.
The Only Easy Thing doesn’t use a new domain name which usually better to target particular keyword, instead of using the existing domain name. He only create a page as targeted landing page for this seo competition. I believe by choosing this strategy, he want to take advantage of his aged domain and also it’s PageRank.
I see no problem with the page that was intended to be the landing page, but I found a weakness on the Only Easy Things as a blog. The main domain wasn’t optimized yet for this seo competition, instead of only using general keyword to explain it self. I was using keyword analyzer to find out how a blog explain them self, and The only Easy thing didn’t mention about seocontest2008 at all. I couldn’t find a closest general keyword such as SEO or Competition as well.
I think this is the biggest weakness of the only easy things to rank up Google SERP in the keyterm of seocontest2008.
