Backup Your Data Now
18 May 2007Have you ever lost your data from your hard drive ? Well, I was once loosing hundreds of megabyte of files from my hard drive because I didn’t make a backup before a failure during creating a new partition. I was taking a risk and wasn’t make backup before loosing those files since I didn’t have enough space to create backup. It was not easy to get additional data space in time.
Lucky for you. Now you can have enough space for keeping your backup data using online backup service from idrive.com. They are offering two subscription plan i.e. Free account iDrive-E basic and iDrive-E standard. You can store upto 2 GB of data in the free account basic plan, and you will get unlimited space when subscribing iDrive-E standard for $4,95/month.
To backup your data using this service, you need a client software which help you managing and transferring your data. IDrive-E is one of the most user-intuitive backup applications and all you have to do is to download and install it on your computer and simply start using it. The nice feature of this application is backup scheduling, so you can schedule the backup process regularly. To make it user friendly, iDrive-E has an easy drag and drop restores using Windows Explorer like interface.
If you concerned with your classified data, you still can use this service since all data transferred between the IDrive-E client and server is encrypted using 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. On the server side, you still have full data security using 256-bit AES encryption on storage with a user defined key. This key is not stored anywhere on the IDrive-E Servers.
So, before you accidentally loosing your data it’s time to make a backup of your important data. iDrive-E basic is ideal for personal user and iDrive-E standard is the best choice for small or medium business or for you who has tons of data on your hard drive.
