Hot Tips For Your Blog To Catch Reader’s Attention Easily

Eye catching title is on the top list, never write a post without it. Otherwise your post will be missed it’s potential reader and only piling up search engine index. You can read further on

- Write always in a short paragraph. Scare not your reader with a huge and crowded paragraph. Short paragraph will be easier to read.
- Make your post in list if possible. If not possible, insert some list on your post. Readers loves list
- Alternates your list’s line format. Normal type in between Bold lines will increase readability of your post
- Insert an Image on your post. A picture speak thousand of words but you could understand it just in seconds. This is a must on your list to draw reader’s attention
Obviously you can always write in a long paragraph if you like, but it would be better if you direct the reader to that long and more detailed paragraph later. The most important thing is to catch their attention first. Because mainly Internet user are skim reader. If they don’t get what they want, they will leave in a few seconds. But if you can draw their attention on the first contact they will read your article further on.
A new blog publisher usually struggle to get readers, those guys who wrote Blog for their self is exceptional case. They usually use social networking service to get traffic. MyBlogLog or Blog Explosion are good examples of social networking. If you are still not member now, give it a try.
Solving Problems ?
My Daily Thoughts for example, gets readers mainly from those two networks instead of Search Engine- and according to my statistics, the readers spend their time to read or to skim less than 1 minute. This is not impressive - and I have to solve this problem. After analyzing my previous posting, I can highlight one of the problem is about my post’s format regarding to the nature of you as skim readers.
After make small research, I think tips I have listed above could increase stay duration of readers on this Blog. By pulling reader attention on the first sight, deeper information could be presented in a readers friendly way. From now on I will write post always following this tips, so hopefully you will get more information by reading my post later.
