How To Design Your Home Interior

Apparently you can ask professional home decorator or architect to do so, but if you did it yourself you can add a certain “feel” to the home; your feeling. Home decoration includes of applying wallpaper, painting the walls, choosing of furniture and fittings such as light fixtures, and adding several details decorations such as paintings.
Home interior decoration is focused on finishing, such as selecting a matched color of wallpaper, window covering, furnishings and paint. Interior design should be more integrated with the building architecture. However you should keep in mind that the whole objective of home interior decoration is to functionally improve the home and make it reflect your tastes and personality. A big challenge apparently, but it will worth much if you could done well.
By designing yourself, you can optimize the budget. Because according to statistical data, about 65% of house maintenance budget was attributed to home interior decoration. The new trends indicate most spending on expanding kitchens and livening up bathrooms with new fittings. Current trends also indicate that emphasis of home decoration is being given to create a special rooms and areas for individual members of the family.
Colors trends are also undergoing a new tone towards earthly, natural and warm brown color. Blue and gray hues are also preferred today. You need innovative home interior decoration ideas which fit best with your family. Obviously less cost idea is preferable for new career professionals and newly married couples.
To reduce the effort of creating new decoration design, you can focus on harmony and function of your design and any decoration details in it. Neatness and simple design has always been good looking, which can be brought about by good functionality.

I do agree that doing things yourself give you a vote of self-confidence and also gives your that “feel” that you did it yourself and it’s your creation so it also gives you that level of comfort. The trend for colors in homes are changing from the days of black and white to live lively colors like orange, pink, brown, sand, and colors like that. There are many ways to get ideas for your home design such as magazines, and websites. Have you guys heard of Design Star?
