New Looks and New Performance
3 July 2007I’m finally moved this Blog to its new server and changing its appearance as well. Now it is using Andreas 08 3 cms ver 1.2 themes. I was choosing this themes because of its simplicity and it uses less background images since I was expecting a better loading performance.
The default themes is appears normal on Firefox but when I use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 (IE 6), the right sidebar was pushed down and not appear side by side with the left side bar. Both sidebar is using floating box style which IE 6 couldn’t render it correctly. To solve this problem I added following parameter on right sidebar style.
_position:absolute;_margin-right:10pt;_left:790px;_top:155px
This line apparently transformed the right sidebar box from relative positioning to fixed position. Underscore in front of each parameter make those line has meaning only for IE and meaningless for another browser. Just make sure you add those line in the last part to let IE override previous parameter.

In Preparation of Moving
2 July 2007I think its time to get a new themes and move this blog to a new server. I was feeling that this themes loads rather slow because of its background images. Therefore I will use a lighter themes with fewer background image. Perhaps I will use 3 columns themes with 2 sidebar on the right.
The server I will use soon, hopefully will perform better then this server. Since I’m targeting to increase visitor number as well as page loads number, I need a better server to handle those visits.
Let see how this blog will appear after a few days forward.

Free Adsense Image Background
1 July 2007The latest border design of Adsense is in my opinion greatly improved than just a square box design. It also improves corner background design for text ads by adsense which already looks as curly tab earlier.
However when I came across this blog I found many interesting free adsense background which perhaps improving adsense appearance on your site. By using those background, your adsense will appear more prominent on the site.
I like using adsense with light bachground since it looks blended with light color themes which I’m always using. You can use those background only if they integrate well with the site’s basic layout. If the background image implementation turns adsense unit become too prominent and distract visitor attention away from the content of your site, then you cannot use those background.
Try those free adsense image background yourself and find out which one is matched better for your site.

SEGATOYS announces their new robo-dog. This robot is named MIO and featured with many sensors built within its body. This sweet robo-dog will react to music they “heard” and its able to show its “mood” through LCD eye. According to SegaToys, this robot will be on market in October this year. Its body length is approximatively 40cm long and you can get it for around 60 €

It has been several months I’m not taking any picture. I miss this activity a lot since my digital camera was stolen on train. I think I’m gonna get a new one soon but I’m still considering many choices.
When I read Canon PowerShot S3 reviews I think this camera would be perfect with my need. Its not first class digital SLR camera, but its already has many features I want. The most important thing is about the price which is still within my budget
