How To Redeem Your Gift Certificate On Dreamhost

4 April 2007

When you receive a gift certificate on Dreamhost you can redeem it according to it’s amount. Recently I received a gift certificate from Cosa Aranda and I redeemed it for a new domain name. Since I don’t have account on Dreamhost, I have to create a new one. I will describe what I did to get a new domain name by redeeming a gift certificate on dreamhost.

Step 1 Dreamhost

First step is navigate to sign up page because you have to create a new account here. Click sign up now on the left-bar menu. You will see several choices of hosting plan. But chose plan level 0 to register a domain name only. Select also automatic rebill once a year, since the gift certificate credit is only for 1 year. Don’t forget to select radio button register a new domain for free.

Step 2 Dreamhost

Scroll down the page and fill all forms of your personal information, including email address and your password. Don’t forget to opt out I agree to abide by Dreamhost TOS. Then click Continue to Secure Payment.

WordPress upgrade to 213

3 April 2007

wordpress-logo.png

I just received an upgrade notification from WordPress.org about the stable release of WordPress version 2.1.3. This is a good news for me and obviously I upgraded this Blog afterward. You read this post on upgraded version though. :)

Yet I become more confident with this Blog security, after my previous post which reveal vulnerability on WordPress 2.1.2. However it is always be better to play save with security issues, considering that careless Admin is an easy target of getting hack. For a security measure of your Blog you can use this suggestion:

Or perhaps you have more suggestion about this.

TiSP Another Great Service From Google

2 April 2007

I just realized a new service from Google which I thoughts very great. It’s called TiSP or you may call it The Toilet Internet Service Provider (TiSP) project. A free in-home wireless broadband service

Users who sign up online for the TiSP system will receive a full home self-installation kit, which includes a spindle of fiber-optic cable, a TiSP wireless router, installation CD and setup guide. Home installation is a simple matter of GFlushing™ the fiber-optic cable down to the nearest TiSP Access Node, then plugging the other end into the network port of your Google-provided TiSP wireless router. Within sixty minutes, the Access Node’s crack team of Plumbing Hardware Dispatchers (PHDs) should have your Internet connection up and running.

So it becomes Internet in the Toilet… LOL :D Happy April Mop

Today’s Blog Review | Cosa Aranda at www.cosaaranda.com

2 April 2007

Cosa Aranda

Starting from today I will write a series of Blog review. This is about Blog I have visited which is interesting and it has influential contents for me.

Today’s Blog Review is on Cosa Aranda a place for belajar AdSense or AdSense tutorial. I knew this Blog since 4 months ago and I become a regular visitor of this blog. It has rich contents on WordPress and AdSense tutorial. I admitted that I learn many things from this Blog and usually when Cosa (the owner) posting a new technique for wordpress’ optimization then I immediately apply it for My Daily Thoughts, even though this customization is breaking my own commitment but I think it gives me new and valuable experience.

The good value of this site apparently on it’s focused content of WordPress optimization and Earning money online. I noticed that since early of this year the owner become more regularly publishing his article compared to last year’s posting frequency. Obviously this is a good sign for me because I could learn more about AdSense tutorial from it and advancing my knowledge on those topics.

When I was visiting this Blog for the first time, it has a similar template as My Daily Thoughts i.e. Bosco 1.0 + Widgets or to be exact I like that template and I use it for my blog as well. But later the owner change the template to his own design and make it unique. Currently it has three columns on the main page and two columns for the rest of the pages. This new and sleek design make a faster loading time and indeed it increases my appreciation of this site. The site navigation is easy enough, however after the owner changed it’s permalink structure several links especially on this important post are broken. I hope he fix those broken link soon.

My Daily Thought On Early Warning For Agloco Member

30 March 2007

Agloco

It seems that Agloco network is bubbling at the moment, but all members including me are waiting for “The Day of Viewbar Download” since it’s not ready yet. Meanwhile I put my referral link of Agloco and hoping that it is effective to gather more people joining this network. Lets keep hoping on it. However each day since I join Agloco, a curious feeling about how Agloco could be in the next few months is growing. Is it really work as they promised… or my expectations is wrong because I don’t really understand how it will work.

My questions about Agloco network is answered today when I read Trader’s Narrative Posting of Agloco. This is what I really need to understand about agloco and it gives me hint that my previous impression on agloco is wrong.

What I expect from agloco is simple as surfing the Internet using agloco viewbar for max 5 hours a month and I will receive money for that. But that is simply wrong according to Trader’s Narrative Posting of Agloco and even from Agloco it self after I re-read Adloco How It’s Work. The diagram from Trader’s Narrative makes me understand about how agloco will works.
