Solid State Disk Become More Popular
24 June 2007I was noticing recently that many major manufacturer in computer devices releases a lot of Solid State Drive series on market. Starting from 8 GB SSD IDE from Transcend up to 64 GB SSD IDE from Samsung those are pretty much product alternative we can chose.
Despite of its advanced features, SSD still has high price tag compared to HDD IDE on the same capacity. This price apparently make me think twice before getting a SSD IDE to replace my HDD. Fortunatelly with samsung’s announcement to mass production SSD IDE we can expect that the price will down until certain affordable level.
